When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale on Monday, February 29th. At that time, you will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs, grand raffle prize tickets and special guest experiences.
Where will the show be held?
The American Girl Fashion Shows will be held at St. Aidan School located at 525 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, NY 11596. The show will be in our auditorium, Msgr. Kirwin Hall. Please enter the building through side entrance located on Pembroke Street. There will be balloons and a sign welcoming you.
Where should I park?
There are two parking lots across the street one on Willis Avenue and one behind our Upper School. You can also park on the streets surrounding the school.
What time will doors open?
Doors will open 30 minutes before the show.
Will I receive tickets?
No tickets will be issued. When you arrive you will check in at our registration table and be given your table number.
What if I purchased tickets for my friends and family?
The only way to guarantee that you sit with your family and friends is to purchase tickets together. Parties who would like to be seated together may also use the same Group Name when making reservations and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
How long is the show?
The show will last approximately two hours with a 20 minute intermission.
Can my daughter be a Guest Model?
For $20 your daughter will walk the runway during intermission while our emcee tells a brief summary about her. She will also receive a special American Girl Fashion Show Tee shirt.You can purchase this special experience along with your tickets.
What refreshments will be served?
Tea party food (bagels, muffins, fruit and cookies) and refreshments (lemonade, water, coffee and tea) will be served. *If you or your child has food allergies please feel free to bring your own food.
What is the dress code?
Little girls should wear their favorite American Girl clothing or “tea party” outfit.
Should my daughter bring her doll?
Yes! Girls are encouraged to bring their American Girl doll with them to the show!
Will there be Souvenirs?
Exclusive American Girl Fashion Show souvenirs for girls and dolls will be on sale at the show. Please check our website next week for a list of souvenirs for sale. (Note: quantities are limited!) There is also a goody bag for each child attending the show.
Will there be any raffles?
There will be grand prizes, raffle prizes for moms and girls, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle! Please check our website next week for a listing of the raffle prizes.
Will Merchandise be on sale?
There will not be American Girl merchandise for sale at the event. However, for 2 weeks before and after the show, American Girl provides a special phone line dedicated to taking orders. Five percent of sales made using our Key Code will be donated to St. Aidan School.
Is there wheel chair access?
The school is equipped with an elevator. Please email us at SASAmericanGirlFashionShow@gmail.com to arrange for someone to greet and assist you.
What will the fashion show benefit?
All net proceeds will go directly to St. Aidan School.
